Hi, I’m Benjamin Scotford, founder of Capture and all-round video enthusiast.

For as long as I can remember I’ve been into video, but what first sparked my interest was watching the Star Wars behind-the-scenes footage.

From there I went to film school every Saturday while I was in high school and on the weekends filmed YouTube videos around the house with my siblings. We thought we were pretty funny!

I was so hungry for experience that I first started shadowing on film shoots when I was just 12. I tagged along on a music video shoot, asking questions the entire time.

I’ve always loved being creative and finding unique ways to look at things and present them. That’s why I started Capture – I love being able to work on a variety of projects and capture the essence of someone’s business, project or event.

Over the years I’ve been fortunate to be involved in a wide range of film and video shoots. This has included being the video editor and camera operator, director and graphic designer for Victory Life Centre’s TV commercials, promotional videos and live event recordings, and being the official video editor for the weekly international television series A Life of Victory with Margaret Court.

I’m also a bit of a perfectionist – my goal is to ensure that every job we do is completed in the most imaginative and professional way possible.

More than anything I want to ensure that our clients have the greatest experience imaginable, not just in terms of the technical product but also how we work with them – in a friendly, personable and communicative manner.
